Political commentator Pauline Njoroge has been appointed interim head of communication for the Linda Mwananchi presidential campaign secretariat, a political movement associated with Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna.

Njoroge announced the appointment on her official X account on Tuesday, October 13, thanking Sifuna and the movement’s leadership for the opportunity.

“Honoured by this appointment,” she wrote.

“I thank H.E Edwin Sifuna and the Linda Mwananchi leadership for the trust and opportunity to serve,” she added.

Her appointment comes as the political outfit works on restructuring its operations and rebranding ahead of its next phase of political activities.

As interim head of communication, Njoroge is expected to help coordinate the movement’s public messaging and media engagements. However, the full scope of her responsibilities and the duration of her interim appointment were not immediately clear.

Njoroge is known for her political commentary and public engagement on governance and current affairs. Her new role places her at the centre of the movement’s communication as political alignments and preparations for the 2027 General Election gather momentum.
