Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ representatives have denied reports that the music executive has been using smuggled electronics and alcohol while serving his prison sentence, insisting that he remains compliant with facility regulations.

The response follows a report by NBC News alleging that Combs acquired illicit mobile phones, accessed tablets and paid fellow inmates thousands of dollars to handle tasks such as laundry, meal preparation and massages.

Combs’ spokesperson Juda Engelmayer dismissed the claims as sensationalised coverage of what he described as routine aspects of prison life.

“The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’s life in prison has reached the point where the media characterises ordinary prison life as news,” Engelmayer told USA Today.

“The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence within the rules and he patiently awaits the court’s decision on his appeal.”

Combs, 56, has been serving a 50-month federal sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey after being convicted of transportation to engage in prostitution.

He has remained in federal custody since late 2024 and is expected to be released in early 2028, although his projected release date has changed several times.

The Bureau of Prisons does not typically comment on individual inmates or internal prison matters.

Combs continues to challenge his conviction on appeal. He has also denied the allegations contained in dozens of civil lawsuits filed against him.
