A floral fairytale, coordinated family fashion and emotional moments unfolded in Mwanza, Tanzania, as President William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto, exchanged vows with Tanzanian businessman Isaya Yunge on Friday.

The wedding brought together romance and glamour, with the bride’s elaborate gown, the groom’s stylish ensemble and the presidential family’s fashion choices becoming some of the day’s standout attractions.

Charlene walked down the aisle in a breathtaking white ball gown that gave her a fairytale bridal moment.

The dress was adorned with intricate three-dimensional floral embellishments covering the bodice and cascading down its voluminous skirt, creating a dramatic yet romantic silhouette.

Its long sleeves featured matching floral details, while a high illusion neckline added a sophisticated finish to the design.

She completed the look with a cathedral-length veil decorated with matching floral appliqués, trailing elegantly behind her as she made her entrance.

However, the bride was not the only one commanding attention.

Her groom, Isaya Yunge, complemented her elegance in an ivory double-breasted tuxedo jacket paired with black trousers, a crisp white shirt and an oversized black bow tie.

His dark sunglasses and lapel pin added a contemporary edge to the otherwise classic ensemble.

Together, the couple’s contrasting white and black outfits created a striking picture as they exchanged their vows.

Meanwhile, President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto brought their own touch of sophistication to the celebration.

The President opted for a burgundy formal jacket with patterned detailing, paired with a white shirt, black bow tie and beige fedora hat.
He completed the look with a decorative walking stick.

Mama Rachel equally embraced the occasion in an elegant embroidered outfit, complemented by a wide-brimmed hat and matching accessories.

Beyond the fashion, one of the ceremony’s memorable family moments came when the presidential couple joined Charlene during her walk down the aisle, escorting their daughter towards the altar.

The maidens also brought their own share of glamour to the celebration.

Charlene’s sisters, June, Cullie, Stephanie and Nadia, were among the bridesmaids, turning heads in coordinated floor-length burgundy dresses.

The matching ensembles stood out against the white floral decorations and lush greenery surrounding the outdoor setting, adding another layer of elegance to the ceremony.
