Kenyan fashion house KikoRomeo is set to showcase its latest collection at Moscow Fashion Week on October 1, 2026, putting one of the country’s longest-running fashion brands on an international runway.
The Nairobi-based label will present its collection at the Central Exhibition Hall Manege in Moscow as part of the official Moscow Fashion Week calendar.
The appearance has been facilitated through a collaboration with Nairobi Fashion Week, giving the Kenyan brand an opportunity to present its designs to an international fashion audience.
Founded in Nairobi in 1996 by Ann McCreath, the brand has spent three decades building a name around contemporary fashion influenced by East African materials, craftsmanship and design.

For its Moscow presentation, the fashion house is expected to combine contemporary tailoring with Kenyan craft traditions. 
The collection includes rainfed organic cotton, handloom textiles, zero-waste garment construction and hand-carved coconut shell buttons.
McCreath will lead the presentation alongside her daughter, Iona McCreath, who heads special projects at the fashion house.
For Nairobi Fashion Week Creative Director Brian James Kihindas, the Moscow appearance is part of efforts to create opportunities for Kenyan designers beyond the local market.
“Securing a place on the official calendar of Moscow Fashion Week is an unprecedented opportunity for Kenya’s fashion industry,” Kihindas said.
McCreath said the Moscow runway would allow KikoRomeo to introduce its approach to fashion and Kenyan craft to a new audience.
“Taking KikoRomeo to the official calendar of Moscow Fashion Week is an extraordinary opportunity to present our vision on an important global stage,” she said.

The showcase comes as Kenyan designers continue to seek opportunities to take locally produced fashion to international markets, while balancing traditional African influences with contemporary design.
