At 11 years young, sweet Khaleesi has so much love left to give – she just needs someone willing to give her a little time to show it.
Khaleesi can be timid when you first meet her in the shelter, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her true personality shines through. She is a loving, affectionate cuddle bug and a wonderful lap cat who absolutely enjoys attention and being close to her people.
Give her some gentle pets around her face and neck, a little brushing, and some quality cuddle time, and you’ll quickly discover what a special lady she is. She can even be picked up and held once she’s comfortable.
Khaleesi is playful, friendly, and happiest when she knows she is safe and loved. She has lived around other cats and tolerates dogs, so she may be able to share her home with furry companions as well. She’s never been around children, so a calm, adult-only home would be best. Her future family will need to listen to her signals and let trust develop at her pace.
There is something especially beautiful about giving an older cat a second chance. Khaleesi isn’t asking for much – just a soft place to land, a patient heart, and someone who will discover the sweet, cuddly girl hiding behind those initially timid eyes.
