Artists Michael and Kevin Scheitzbach -

Michael and Kevin Scheitzbach were born and raised in Brampton, Ontario. Both graduated from regional arts dance programs, won several awards and accolades and trained in several genres of dance, specializing in hip hop, jazz funk, technical and street styles. They both moved to Los Angeles on their 0-1 Visa five years ago to chase their dreams of performing with artists on stage and screen.

Before moving to LA, the boys had reached the pinnacle of the Toronto dance scene. They taught three times a week at local dance studios while performing and choreographing for shows including Choreographer’s Ball and Fever After Dark. They have created competition routines for dance studios. Both Michael and Kevin also appeared in several Disney films filmed in Toronto, including Zombies 1 & 2, Sneakerella and Spin, as well as the TV show The Next Step. In 2019, they also represented Canada at the World IDO Hip Hop Championships in Germany, where they got the bronze medal in small groups and placed 9th overall in Hip Hop Duos.

Once they moved to LA, they hit the ground running. In their first year, both boys performed together at Coachella for 88 Rising in a record setting all Asian set featuring artists from all over Asia. They have been seen in various industrials, commercials and danced live at the Oscars and Kids’ Choice Awards. Michael performed with Mariah Carey, Diana Ross and Meghan Trainor, while Kevin performed with Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour and Paula Abdul.

While they still share the goal of getting back on stage to perform (hopefully together again at some point), they have also expanded their teaching to studios in LA like Millennium Dance Complex, Movement Lifestyle and TMilly, where they share their knowledge and enthusiasm during their almost 20 years in the industry. They continued performing in and choreographing for shows like Carnival and Club Jete. They frequently teach at various dance conventions and adjudicate at dance competitions, encouraging dancers to explore their musicality, solidify their technique and create lasting, intentional performances. The future remains bright for these two young Canadians making their mark on the dance industry in North America and the world.
