A Nigerian couple, who identified themselves as Segun and Kemi Omotinugbon, has gone viral on social media after testifying in church about welcoming their first child nearly 30 years after marriage.
The testimony, which has since been widely shared online, was delivered at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries during the Power Must Change Hands service held on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
In the viral video, the woman recounted how she and her husband got married in July 1994 and had waited decades for the fruit of the womb.
As she spoke, her husband was seen in tears, drawing emotional reactions from members of the congregation.

According to her, the couple went through years of prayers and medical interventions, including two failed in-vitro fertilisation procedures, before she eventually conceived in May 2024.
“We got married in 1994, July precisely. Since then we’ve been believing God for the fruit of the womb. It had been a challenging time, but God manifested himself after all. We’ve been through some treatments, two failed IVFs,” she said.
She added that the church’s General Overseer supported them through prayers and counselling over the years.
The woman said she conceived at the age of 56 and later gave birth in January 2025, shortly before turning 57.
“The journey had been that of pain, cry and joy at times. Anytime I saw people testify, I asked God when will I testify. You have not called me to shame. You have not called this home to shame, and God did it,” she said.
She also recounted suffering an injury to her leg during the waiting period, but said she remained hopeful.
“There was a time I had an attack on my leg, and I told God I would still need this leg to carry pregnancy. And God helped me,” she added.
The video has continued to trend across social media platforms, with many Nigerians sharing emotional reactions and congratulatory messages to the couple.
