Nicki Minaj has taken to social media, launching personal attacks against Chrissy Teigen and Lizzo while accusing unnamed industry figures of sabotage.
The rapper, who skipped the 2026 Grammy Awards, spent the evening posting increasingly hostile messages on X.
Her post aimed at model Chrissy Teigen drew the strongest backlash, making a transphobic and unsubstantiated allegation condemned by users and advocacy groups for its harmful rhetoric.
Minaj also targeted singer Lizzo, body-shaming her and mocking her recent album sales and legal challenges.

Later, Minaj claimed she had been the victim of coordinated industry efforts to undermine her career.
“They sabotaged my documentary b/c i spoke about abuse that i suffered,” she wrote, alleging gatekeepers have sought to damage her financially and suppress her creative projects.
The tension appears to have been sparked by a Grammy telecast segment.
During his opening monologue, host Trevor Noah joked about Minaj’s support for President Donald Trump, “Nicki Minaj couldn’t be here tonight,” Noah told the audience.
“She’s currently at the White House with Trump,” he added.
The crowd laughed, and the broadcast cut to Teigen, who was seen laughing and giving a thumbs-up. Noah followed with an impression of the President, leaning further into the bit.

Minaj’s initial responses were mild but escalated after the clip of Teigen’s reaction went viral. Neither Teigen nor Lizzo has formally responded.
Meanwhile, former US President Donald Trump also criticised the 68th Grammys and threatened legal action against Noah over a joke linking him to Jeffrey Epstein.
On Truth Social, Trump called the event “the WORST” and “virtually unwatchable,” then addressed Noah directly:
“Noah said, INCORRECTLY about me, that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island,” Trump wrote. “WRONG!!! I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, have never been accused of being there.”
He added, calling Noah a “poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C.” and warning of legal consequences: “It looks like I’ll be sending my lawyers to sue… and suing him for plenty. Get ready, Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you!”
The controversy unfolded moments after Billie Eilish won Song of the Year. Hosting the Grammys for the sixth and final time, Noah had joked:
“That is a Grammy that every artist wants, almost as much as Trump wants Greenland. Which makes sense because, since Epstein’s gone, he needs a new island to hang out with Bill Clinton.”
After laughter and gasps, Noah quipped, “I told you, it’s my last year! What are you going to do about it?”
