President William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto, is openly embracing her bridal era, giving a glimpse of the elegance and personal moments behind her preparations for a white wedding with Tanzanian entrepreneur Isaya Yunge.

In a series of photographs shared on social media, Charlene appeared in an elaborate white wedding gown adorned with three-dimensional floral embellishments. The dress featured a flowing train and a dramatic cathedral-length veil that completed her bridal look.

Set against a lush garden backdrop, the photoshoot took on a romantic feel, with purple jacaranda flowers scattered across the grass as Charlene posed in her gown.

But beyond the carefully captured bridal portraits, behind-the-scenes footage offered a more intimate glimpse into the preparations.

Her mother, First Lady Rachel Ruto, and younger sister Stephanie Jepchumba were on hand to help adjust the gown and arrange the long veil, sharing in the moments leading up to the shoot.

The family involvement added a personal touch to the occasion, with Charlene surrounded by two of the women closest to her as she prepared for her big day.

Her bridal transformation comes after a colourful bridal shower held on November 3, bringing together close friends and women who have shared different chapters of her life.

Reflecting on the celebration, Charlene expressed gratitude to the women who came together to mark the beginning of her new chapter.

“Grateful that the amazing women I have done life with over the years chose to celebrate me in my new season,” she wrote on Instagram.

She also offered a glimpse into the values she hopes will shape her marriage, placing her Christian faith at the centre of the journey ahead.

“Christ as our solid foundation and rock, the Word to guide my next step,” she added.

In another emotional tribute following a Mother’s Blessing ceremony, Charlene acknowledged her mother, aunties and other women for their prayers, gifts and guidance.

“Thank you Mama for being my prayer warrior and biggest cheerleader all my life,” she wrote.

Charlene and Yunge formalised their union through a traditional Kalenjin Koito ceremony on August 8, 2026, at Intonna Heritage Farm in Kilgoris, Narok County.

Their upcoming white wedding marks another chapter in celebrations that have attracted attention in both Kenya and Tanzania.
