American streamer Kai Cenat has sparked online reactions after accidentally revealing more than Sh3 million sitting in his TikTok creator account during a livestream.

The incident happened on November 3, 2026, when Cenat briefly opened his creator rewards dashboard while broadcasting alongside Detroit comedian and rapper Glen “Looze Cannon” Cannon, who is also known for impersonating Michael Jackson.

The screen showed an unwithdrawn balance of $23,232.11 (about Sh3.01 million) before Cenat quickly closed the page.

The revelation led some viewers to assume that the streamer had made the entire amount during the broadcast, which lasted less than 30 minutes.

However, the figure represented money accumulated in his TikTok account over time, rather than earnings from that particular session.

The livestream itself was also lucrative. Reports indicate that Cenat earned between $7,000 and $7,300 (approximately Sh910,000 to Sh950,000) through TikTok LIVE gifts and rewards during the broadcast.

A four-to-five-minute battle between Cenat and Cannon reportedly attracted an enormous volume of virtual gifts from viewers.

Cenat received more than 200,000 gifts, while Cannon’s tally exceeded 1.4 million, according to reports.

TikTok LIVE battles allow creators to compete against each other, with viewers sending virtual gifts purchased using TikTok Coins. These gifts contribute to creators’ rewards, although the actual cash value depends on TikTok’s conversion and payout arrangements.

Cenat is among the most recognisable personalities in online entertainment, having built a massive following through comedy, challenges, celebrity appearances and interactive livestreams.

His popularity spans Twitch, YouTube and TikTok, where he has turned audience engagement into a lucrative part of his career.

The accidental reveal has reignited conversations about the earning potential of major internet personalities, particularly how quickly virtual gifts and other creator rewards can translate into substantial sums.
