Dangote Cement Plc has rewarded its top-performing distributors and business partners with luxury vehicles, haulage trucks and cash prizes as part of an awards ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria.
The rewards, valued at about Sh1.3 billion, according to Nigerian news outlets, included a 2026 Lexus LX 700h Hybrid SUV, Toyota Land Cruiser Prados, Toyota Veloz SUVs and compressed natural gas (CNG)-powered trucks.
Leading the list of awardees was Otunba Kazeem Odeyeyiwa, chairman of Kazab Heritage Limited and Repton Group, who received a brand-new Lexus LX 700h Hybrid SUV.
Odeyeyiwa was recognised as Dangote Cement’s largest distributor in Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa for the third consecutive year.
The company also awarded 16 vehicles to key business partners, including four Toyota Land Cruiser Prados and 12 Toyota Veloz SUVs. Other beneficiaries received commercial transport assets and CNG-powered haulage trucks to support logistics and cement distribution.
Among the other recognised partners were NWA–ADO Multi-Biz Nig. Ltd and Twins Faja Nigeria Limited.
The awards were presented by senior executives, including Group Sales and Marketing Director Funmi Sanni, National Sales Director Dolapo Alli, Lagos Regional Director Tunde Mabogunje, Logistics Director Abayomi Shittu and Head of Sales Capability Desmond Aregbesola.
The awards come as the Dangote Group continues to expand its commercial interests across Africa, spanning cement manufacturing, distribution and energy.
Founded by Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote, the group has built a significant presence in Africa’s industrial sector, with cement among its flagship businesses.
In May, Dangote Cement also announced Sh15 billion worth of rewards for its top distributors and customers in recognition of their loyalty and performance.
The 2026 Distributors’ Awards Night, held in Lagos under the theme “Partner for Growth”, featured cash prizes, cement supplies, luxury SUVs and CNG-powered trucks.
