My Digital Life: Content Creator Tianna Brammer

Tianna Brammer has a background that makes her particularly well-suited as a food and beverage content creator. While her time as a competitive figure skater taught her discipline and the importance of proper nutrition, she also has restaurateurs on both sides of her family. Additionally, her mother’s work with an airline afforded Brammer the chance to travel the world from a young age. After a recent stint behind the bar at the Four Seasons in Los Angeles, Brammer is back in Canada creating content and working on her own soon-to-launch beverage startup. We spoke with her to learn more.

What is your channel called and what is it about?

@drinkswitht is my social media platform where I share my passions for the hospitality and beverage industry. My professional background is an assortment of beverage experience, beginning as a barista, to a mixologist, and beverage manager. Over the years, I’ve developed an affinity for complementary flavours and combinations in food and drink that I love to experience and share.

The next step in my career is to own my own business. I’m actually building a beverage start-up as we speak, so stay tuned for that!

When did you start it? What motivated you at the beginning?

I began this concept in 2020 when restaurants and bars were closed during the pandemic. I was at the beginning of my management career and craved a creative outlet while we were stuck at home. I continued creating cocktail recipes from my apartment and had a few opportunities to collaborate with amazing brands, including a magazine recipe for Moët Hennessy.

Who were you inspired by? Any influences?

I’m inspired by an assortment of things, from fashion to travel. My mother works for an airline, so I’ve always looked for an excuse to escape to another city and immerse myself in a new environment. Experiencing different places and cultures has become one of the biggest influences on my creativity. I’m naturally very observant and love to take in the details around me—from the way people live and dress to the food, design, and energy of a place—and let those experiences inform what I create.

How would you describe your audience?

Having recently lived in Vancouver, Los Angeles, and now Toronto, my audience naturally spans across North America. I would describe them as primarily interested in food and drink, which has always been my main area of expertise and one of the easiest ways for me to connect with others. Food is universal, and it’s a natural conversation starter, often bringing up some of our strongest memories and experiences. I love that food and drink can create an immediate sense of connection, regardless of where someone comes from.

What is your creative process? Do you have people who work with you?

I absolutely love bouncing ideas with others but don’t have people working with me at this time. I’d love to have people I can collaborate with in the future, but for now I usually showcase things that genuinely make me happy.

I also believe there’s something valuable about creating from your own inspirations rather than following what others are doing. I’ll often run with an idea that excites me and then fine-tune it by bringing in the perspectives of family and friends. Their opinions can offer a fresh lens while still allowing the original idea to remain authentically mine.

How do you monetize your content? Do you also have another job?

I recently moved back to Canada after working for the Four Seasons in Los Angeles. I took a short pause from working online while I created multiple menus and concepts for the bar and restaurants at my hotel. As of 2026, I’m excited to get back into partnerships with brands while I live in Toronto.

I’ve always believed that relationships are an important part of growing your career, and I see content partnerships in much the same way. I’m someone who is always open to saying yes to new experiences, as long as they align with my values. Putting yourself out there creates opportunities to meet new people, build meaningful relationships, and discover potential collaborations that you may not have encountered otherwise.

What is your favourite piece of content you have created?

When collaborating with brands, I love bringing concepts to life that represent their aesthetic. I created a few pieces of content with a tetra pack wine company, Viavino, and brought the Italian feel to Vancouver in this Reel. From the audio to the outfit, and shot that was taken from many floors above, I was able to combine my love of fashion and beverage all in one.

What is the best part about what you do? What is the worst part?

The best part of my day is learning or experiencing something new. Whether I’m learning about a business, discovering a new ingredient, or tasting an unexpected flavour combination, I love expanding my knowledge and gaining new perspectives. There’s always something new to discover, and I find that curiosity is a big part of what keeps me inspired.

I wouldn’t necessarily say there are bad parts of my career. Every day looks different and is usually high-energy, so even when things get challenging, I tend to have fun working through them alongside other people. As an individual creative, however, one thing I sometimes find challenging is focusing my thoughts. I get inspired very easily, so my mind can quickly move in a hundred different directions at once. Learning how to channel that creativity and turn my many ideas into something focused is an ongoing part of my process.

What are your future plans for your channel?

I anticipate being very busy over the next few years as I build and launch my start-up. On my personal platform, I’ll continue sharing lifestyle content that reflects my beverage-centric life, while also bringing my audience along for the behind-the-scenes journey of building my company.

Where can we follow you?

Currently, @drinkswitht on Instagram and TikTok

For my upcoming beverage business, I’ll have new platforms rolling out next year in 2027!

PAY IT FORWARD: What is another Canadian content creator that you love?

There are so many incredible creators in Canada, but I especially want to highlight Isabelle Allain, @izzipoopi, who won Digital Creator of the Year at this year’s Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards (CAFA).

A Montreal-based fashion creator, Isabelle has an incredible eye for style, but what I love most is how much fun she seems to have with fashion. She embraces the most outrageous, unexpected, and beautiful pieces, and somehow makes every look feel completely her own. Her personality is so magnetic and entertaining that even if fashion content isn’t necessarily your thing, you can’t help but be drawn in.
