Rhumba fans in Kenya have more big shows to look forward to after Fally Ipupa’s sold-out concert last week.

Legendary Congolese stars Koffi Olomide and Ferré Gola have now confirmed Nairobi dates later this year.

Koffi Olomide, widely known as the “Grand Mopao,” will headline the #MachokaAt50 Grand Concert on Saturday, 10 October, 2026.

The show honours media veteran Fred Obachi Machoka’s 50 years in radio and broadcasting. It will be held at the Ulinzi Sports Complex along Lang’ata Road in Nairobi.

Ferré Gola, known as “Le Padre,” is scheduled to perform at the Dala Festival on Saturday, 12 December, 2026, which falls on Jamhuri Day.

He is expected to deliver a long, marathon-style set for his Kenyan fans, the “Golois,” as part of the festival lineup.

Ferré Gola officially confirmed the date on his Instagram, stating that he is bringing the absolute best of Congolese rumba to Kenya.

The announcement follows Fally Ipupa’s recent performance at Uhuru Gardens in a festival-style concert that ran from the afternoon until early morning.

He shared the stage with South African amapiano acts Kamo Mphela and DJ Maphorisa, as well as Kenyan and Congolese DJs and groups, including Kodong Klan, DJ Joe Mfalme, DJ Ice and Tango Supreme.
