Gospel musician Guardian Angel has surprised many Kenyans with photos and videos of a huge onion harvest from his farm, Waingo Farm.

The farm, which is situated in Machakos County, is said to cover 20 acres of land and some people did not believe the farm would yield any produce due to the semi-arid climate in the region.

Despite the naysayers, the Gospel singer did not give up. He reportedly drilled a borehole to get water, built water towers, and put in drip irrigation systems to water his crops. 

Today’s pictures and videos have shown that Waingo Farm indeed produces. According to Guardian Angel, Waingo Farm cultivates not only onions, but also maize, traditional vegetables like managu, chickens for poultry, and a new fish pond with azolla plants to feed the fish.

The bulb onions have since attracted the most attention online, with many fans flooding online to heap praises on the singer for his hard work and smart farming choices.

The musician has seemingly shifted his focus from music to farming, and after sharing the posts on his socials, some have even estimated that the farm could earn him millions of shillings if he manages to sell all the onions.
