Arsenal fans flooded Nairobi CBD and streets across Kenya in jubilant celebrations after the club recently ended its 22-year wait for the Premier League title.
A sea of red and white swept through Nairobi’s city centre as supporters poured into the streets following Arsenal’s long-awaited triumph.
From Moi Avenue to Kenyatta Avenue, the CBD transformed into a carnival of noise, music and passion, with fans waving giant Arsenal flags and chanting victory songs.

Dressed in Arsenal jerseys bearing the names of current stars and club legends, supporters marched through the streets shouting “Champions! Champions!” while others climbed onto pavements and boda bodas to lead the celebrations.
Some recreated players’ signature moments, including Viktor Gyökeres’ famous hand-over-mouth celebration, while others copied dramatic goal celebrations seen throughout the season.

The atmosphere was electric as whistles echoed across the CBD, drums thundered and portable speakers blasted football anthems.
Groups of fans danced in circles while waving scarves and flags high in the air, as motorists joined in by hooting continuously while crowds sang along.

Videos shared online showed supporters jumping up and down in excitement while holding massive red Arsenal banners stretched across sections of the road.
Others wore retro Arsenal kits, caps and customised jerseys as they celebrated what many described as a historic moment after years of heartbreak and near misses.

The celebrations were not limited to Nairobi. Similar scenes were reported in towns across Kenya, particularly in parts of Western Kenya as Arsenal supporters took to the streets to mark the title victory.
Social media platforms were flooded with clips of fans singing club chants, dancing and lighting up the streets in celebration.

Arsenal will officially lift the Premier League trophy on May 24 following the conclusion of their final match of the season against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Mikel Arteta’s side secured the title earlier in the week when Manchester City dropped points at Bournemouth, ending a 22-year championship drought for the north London club.
Because their coronation was confirmed after their final home fixture against Burnley, the Gunners will break new ground by receiving the trophy and their winners’ medals on away soil for the first time in Premier League history.
Captain Martin Odegaard is expected to hoist the silverware on a specially constructed podium immediately after the final whistle blows.
