Arsenal Football Club secured the English Premier League title, igniting widespread jubilation among supporters globally.
From vibrant street celebrations to proudly donning the iconic red jersey, fans commemorated a historic triumph awaited since 2004.
In Kenya, the celebrations were not different. As much as fans flooded the streets in various parts of Nairobi, some artistes extended their love for Arsenal FC through songsss.
Former Sauti sol member Savara recently released his own rendition of the popular song, North London Forever.
The song is known as Arsenal’s famous anthem and rallying cry. Originally based on the song The Angel by singer Louis Dunford, it is now a favourite among fans at the Emirates Stadium.
The Show you off singer released the song just days ago expressing his love for Arsenal FC. He captioned, “A special dedication to all Arsenal fans – we’ve been through it all. What a time to be a gunner!”
Rapper Khaligraph Jones joined Arsenal fans in celebrating their Premier League title win by dropping a video on Instagram.
The Champe hitmaker timed his post perfectly just after the title was secured, soundtracking the clip with a snippet of his hit song Yes Bana.
He specifically used the verse where he shouts out Arsenal and accurately predicts their championship run.
“Niaje watu wangu wa Arsenali. Season ni yetu msiworry. Mi nishawapasha habari. Ule kijana hodari,” he sang as young men dressed in the renowned red Arsenal jersey danced and sang along. He captioned the clip saying, “And it was written, Yes Bana!”
In the lyrics, the OG sent a clear message to Arsenal fans, proving that he never doubted the team would have a successful season. In fact, he has always been vocal publicly about his support for Arsenal FC.
In April, he jokingly opened up about a fashion misstep, expressing regret for donning an Arsenal jersey in fellow artiste Bien-Aimé Baraza’s Finale music video.
The Mazishi rapper felt the choice clashed with his actual football allegiances, particularly with Manchester City later dominating Arsenal on the pitch.
“It was a big mistake agreeing to be in this video. Hii ndio imeleta swara,” he wrote. He then directly addressed Bien, saying, “Can you remove that video from YouTube, delete my parts please,”
While the Finale music video featured Khaligraph chilling and celebrating, he was alongside fellow Kenyan artistes; Savara, Bien Aime, Bensoul and Polycarp ‘Fancy fingers’ Otieno.
They all wore different Arsenal jerseys and what seemed like a casual styling choice turned into a viral talking point, blending music, football, and online culture.
Bien Aime Baraza also celebrated Arsenal’s win in style by posting a video of himself at the Emirates Stadium in North London, UK watching a previous match between Arsenal and another team.
The Ma Cherie singer wore a yellow double denim, Marvin, white t-shirt and a red and white scarf imprinted with the Arsenal logo. Celebrating the victorious win he wrote on Instagram, “Champions and today the prophecy has come to pass. The best is yet to come. LEO SILALI.”
Prior to the team’s win, he had released the song Finale together with Tanzanian singer AliKiba and showed his support for Arsenal FC.
Aside from wearing the club’s jersey, the video portrayed them watching a football match and jumped in happiness when Arsenal scored.
Another is artiste Mr. Joe who made a name for himself on the Kenyan football music scene and social media with dedicated releases. He passionately expressed his love and support for the Gunners in two tracks namely, Arsenal the Best Song and Arsenal Anthem (Emirates Ni Nyumbani) featuring Miki.
Other popular artistes celebrated the iconic win with Arsenal-themed skits and clips.
In one instance, gospel singer Moji Short Baba uploaded an AI-generated video of himself dressed in a red suit with imprints of the team’s logo. He shared other clips while at home as he danced joyfully showcasing various Arsenal celebration signatures.
The Maisha yangu singer wrote on Instagram, “Good morning. Arsenal ndio macommander! Mtachoka na sisi.”
Popular singer Arrow Bwoy also weighed in on the celebration by posting a picture of himself in an Arsenal Jersey. He captioned on his Instagram page saying, “ARSENAL! THE CHAMPIONS 25/26. NI MBAYA.”
Arsenal’s 2026 Premier League triumph wasn’t just another trophy, it ended 22 years of waiting and put the club back where it belongs.
Mikel Arteta successfully turned years of unfulfilled promise and heavy criticism into a historic, high-grit campaign.
After seasons of falling short while rivals dominated, the fans finally got the reward they hungered for. Arsenal refused to buckle under pressure, holding their nerve perfectly down the stretch.
In a dramatic twist, the title was actually clinched off the pitch when Manchester City failed to beat Bournemouth, locking in Arsenal’s lead and sparking chaotic celebrations in North London.
