Adamawa APC Primary Rescheduled to Saturday



The All Progressives Congress has rescheduled the Adamawa Central Senatorial District Primary Election in Adamawa State to Saturday.

This was disclosed in a statement by the National Publicity Secretary, APC, Felix Morka on Friday.

The Party urges all aspirants, Party officials, and stakeholders to take note of the new date and ensure strict compliance with all guidelines issued for the conduct of the exercise in order to ensure a transparent, credible and peaceful primary election process.

Morka stated, “The All Progressives Congress (APC) has rescheduled the conduct of the Adamawa Central Senatorial District Primary Election in Adamawa State to Saturday, 23rd May, 2026.

The Party urges all aspirants, Party officials, and stakeholders to take note of the new date and ensure strict compliance with all guidelines issued for the conduct of the exercise in order to ensure a transparent, credible and peaceful primary election process.”

Recall that the party held its senatorial primaries across the country on Monday.

The party has been conducting primaries for various elective positions across its structures nationwide, with several states recording postponements, withdrawals and allegations of irregularities that have cast a shadow over the process in some quarters.
