Tina Campbell, one-half of the Grammy-winning gospel duo Mary Mary, is heading toward divorce after her husband, Glendon “Teddy” Campbell, filed to end their more than 25-year marriage, according to TMZ.
According to court filings, Teddy Campbell, 51, cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
The documents show the couple married in August 2000 and separated in June 2024, meaning they had already been living apart for nearly two years before the formal filing.
TMZ and other outlets obtained the records, which first broke the news and sparked widespread discussion among fans of the gospel star.
The couple share two children, Glendon Theodore II, 16, and Santana, 13.
In his filing, Teddy asked the court to establish visitation schedules, while leaving issues of spousal support to be addressed later.
He also indicated there are no significant property or financial disputes requiring division, suggesting the separation may be relatively amicable on paper, even if emotionally complex.
The couple had previously opened up about serious marital struggles, including an affair by Teddy with an employee and close family friend, which Tina revealed on The Steve Harvey Show.
According to People, the scandal was documented on the WeTV reality show Mary Mary, which aired from 2012 to 2017.
“I know that I never kissed another man,” Tina said in a clip from the show. “I never went out with another man, I’ve never entertained the wrong conversation, I never cheated in my head, I never did anything. I was 190 percent committed to that man and this is what you did? Every time I was gone you stole my life away from me. I’m angry.”
Despite the crisis, the couple later shared a story of forgiveness and reconciliation, even appearing together at marriage restoration events, before the current development.
