A press statement released on Saturday by the Anambra State Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, said the agreement, signed during a high-level innovation engagement in Beijing, marks the beginning of a strategic partnership designed to accelerate innovation-driven economic growth across Africa and the Middle East.
Under the MoU, both parties will collaborate in key areas, including startup and venture acceleration through joint accelerator programmes and venture-building initiatives in sectors such as energy, sustainability, and emerging technologies.
They will also develop frameworks to co-invest in high-potential startups and transformative technologies, as well as exchange expertise, best practices, and insights to drive research, development, and commercialisation.
The partnership also provides for the creation of networking and collaboration platforms connecting startups, investors, researchers and industry leaders, as well as the co-hosting of international summits, workshops and business-to-business meetings to foster global innovation linkages.
