President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Iran, pledging an unprecedented military response if the country follows through on reported plans to launch a major attack.
In a message disclosed by Trump and shared by the White House via its X platform on Sunday, the U.S. leader said Iran had threatened to strike “very hard,” prompting his administration to signal readiness for overwhelming retaliation.
“Iran just stated that they are going to hit very hard today, harder than they have ever hit before,” Trump said. “They better not do that, however, because if they do, we will hit them with a force that has never been seen before.”
