Renowned American streamer IShowSpeed has crowned Kenya as his top pick among the nations visited during his “Speed Does Africa” tour.
Born Darren Watkins Jr., the internet personality asserted in an online chat on February 12 that the massive reception he received in Nairobi left him totally speechless.
“My visit to Kenya was just crazy. I couldn’t believe how many people came out for me. I think about 30,000 people showed up in the city just to watch me stream and be part of the experience. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many people before. Just to think that I could pull that many in Africa… I was astonished,” he said.
The energetic creator visited more than 20 African nations during his journey, starting in the south and moving through East and North Africa before concluding in West Africa.
