Veteran rapper Snoop Dogg’s granddaughter, Codi Dreaux, has died at 10 months old.

Her mother, Snoop’s daughter Cori Broadus, announced the tragic news on Instagram Stories on January 31.

The 26-year-old shared a black-and-white photo of herself holding Codi, smiling, with the caption: “Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” accompanied by an angel wing emoji.

Cori’s fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also expressed his grief in a series of Instagram Stories posts.

“I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you,” he wrote over a photo of himself cradling his daughter.

Codi was born prematurely at just 25 weeks in February 2025.

In her birth announcement, Cori at the time revealed that she had undergone an emergency C-section after doctors discovered she was developing HELLP syndrome, a serious condition involving hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelets.

She wrote, “The princess arrived at 6 months. I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what, God always shows me that He got me! Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s the best!! Thank you God for getting me this far.”

Earlier, in January 2026, Cori had posted a photo of herself relaxing in bed with Codi, captioned, “She’s home. Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all.”

Since the announcement of Codi’s death, condolences have poured in on social media.

Rapper Sexy Red wrote, “I’m sorry sister,” while Mariah the Scientist shared, “I’m thinking about you and what you’re going through. I’m praying for you and your family. I’m praying for your baby as well. All my love goes out to you.”
